Our story
How it started
The idea to enter the hotel industry began when a businessman approached Jonathan Africa and offered to sell him a sinking small motel. Jonathan studied how to refurbish and improve it. In 2019, he acquired a house and lot on Jacob Street in Naga City, which he renovated to create an apartelle. He named it Papa Tantan Apartelle, and it gained popularity for its affordable rates and excellent service, becoming a second home for many.
Papa Tantan continued to grow and expand, earning a reputation for cleanliness, affordable prices, and quality service — a preferred choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, welcoming stay.
